As part of our Lowe Mill Workshop series, which brings workshops from regional craftspeople and teachers into Lowe Mill galleries, we are excited to announce DIY Wall Art: Tapestry Weaving in Drawn-Thread Fabric with Erica Parker.
This workshop will take place in our North Floor Gallery, surrounded by the work of Claire Lewis Evans, on June 18, 2016 from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Explore color, texture, and learn fundamental tapestry weaving techniques as you begin a one-of-a-kind decorative wall hanging in this 2.5 hour class.
You will deconstruct existing fabric and weave in new material to create a 6” circular work of fiber art.
